Just like finding out the reality that your favorite snack has downsized as you take the last bite, this book left me just a few pages short of getting my "fill". I literally sighed when the book suddenly ended.
The way it picked up where it left off with just enough background for those who didn't recently finish the first book yet doesn't spend too much time preaching to the choir, then takes off made it well worth the sudden ending point. An excerpt of book 3 awaits at the end, causing my desire to continue the series to be at least contented for now.
Just like the original, it is well written, has quite a few nuggets of wisdom, is entertaining and all without coming across as written by an evangelist trying to convert anyone.
The first book introduced wisdoms and truths to live by to the main characters and in this book it's rubber meets road time as the struggles that come along with it come to fruition. For those who want a copy of The Table of Maturity that was introduced in book 1, there's a copy of them at the back of this book. A very nice touch,imo.
I got it free with my Prime but after reading I knew I'd be back again so I went ahead and purchased a copy.
Once again I find myself longing for the next in the series.

knowing the story from the fist book I was interested in how the plot would develop. I find Hibbard's books challenging and very thoughtful and would highly recommend them to others.
Plot thickens, more to the story. It still has slow parts but seems to read a bit better.
This series held my interest, as well as inspired me, as an adult, to live better.
The adventure and fantasy take me away, but the lessons taught stay with me.

I am recommending these books to everyone, especially those with teen children.

I can't wait on the third one to be released.
Things are really moving along in Terreldor. We learn a bit more about the mystery of the boys' presence in Terreldor and more about the culture of the trolls. A lot of thought went into building the story world, I can tell. I'm also seeing the author grow as the series continues. The main character matures a lot during the course of the book and learns many life lessons. This is a good clean series you could read with your older children. I do recommend this book to my blog followers. I had the privilege of proofreading this novel before it was published to check for errors. The choice to write a review was my own and I bought my own copy. I will purchase the next book when it comes out because I'm looking forward to seeing whether or not the boys go home.
Not normally my style book, but I enjoyed it and was enthralled with the characters and the parables with the choice they made and the choice 'we' make every day!

This series of books was possible the best Christian Fiction I have ever read ~ and I don't say that lightly!
A great book. A great adventure story in the genre of C. S. Lewis...one of fantasy and high values for the good guys. Definitely an excellent story line for anybody age 12 to 100. There are subtle lessons to be learned in both this book and the 1st book, The Journey to Terreldor. I highly recommend this book and can hardly wait for the 3rd book of the Adventures in Terreldor series to be written and published.
Continuing where we left off, we follow Mark and his brother into war. We learn more about Terreldor, although not everything by a long shot. Questions are answered while even more are created.

While we follow the pain, joy and difficult decisions they find themselves in, there is always the underlying question we are trying to answer Where is Terreldor and how did they get there?

I love that these books are exciting and yet able to get across some serious information without being preachy at all. A great fantasy adventure with an uplifting message AND clean story? That is hard to find nowadays. Very hard to find. But Hibbard has done it beautifully.

Now to have the patience to wait for the final book!
